Documenting Real People Through Honest, Visual Storytelling

My creative work grows from a long journey through community support, education, and formal study in art, creativity, and business. Across four years of training, culminating in the Diploma of Art & Creativity (Advanced) Level 7, I developed a documentary practice shaped by curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to representing real people with care. My background in early childhood education, autism support, family services, and community work taught me how to listen closely, work respectfully in sensitive environments, and recognise the stories that sit beneath everyday life. Alongside this, my qualifications in business administration, adult education, computing, and creative media give me the practical skills to support projects through writing, organisation, and structured documentation. Together, these experiences form a practice that values authenticity, thoughtful storytelling, and the quiet, patient observation that helps meaningful work emerge.
